Polluted sites, multiple risks
Liquid or gaseous waste, asbestos, lead, PCBs and other undesirable products, resulting from industrial processes or accidents? The contamination of a site must be assessed in order to develop and implement appropriate remediation measures for the hazards and risks posed by the site for the surrounding population and the groundwater table. Remediation is also required when there is a change of use or when a polluted site is bought or sold.
In such cases, there are health hazards, as well as financial, legal and image-related risks. Polluted land is a source of concern, and specialised services are needed to clean it up.
Response, remediation and recovery
We specialise in environmental audits, diagnostics, design and implementation of remediation programmes for polluted sites and brownfield sites.
Our experts provide strategic support throughout the process (covering scientific, technical, regulatory and legal aspects) to deliver an optimal solution in terms of safety, but also to minimise costs for our clients. The goal is to rehabilitate the site, to assure its land and property conversion – and to recycle any waste that can be recovered.
