After five months of digging, the tunnelling machine nicknamed “Charlotte” has completed the second Saverne tunnel on the Eastern European high-speed rail line (LGV-EE). As the prime design and construction contractor for this tunnel, BG naturally attended the celebration marking this milestone, held Monday, February 25, 2013. The event was organised by RFF, the awarding authority for the LGV EE.
