From November 13 to 15 at the Palais des Congrès in Paris, the French Tunnelling and Underground Space Association (AFTES) hosted its 15th International Congress. On the theme of “The Value is Underground”, the Congress examined the significance of the underground space as heritage and its relationship with urban development.

Organised every year, the JOM enables children aged between 11 and 13 to learn about the work of one of their parents, with no bias from gender stereotypes.

During the last edition of the EPFL Forum, which took place from October 9 to 13, 2017 at the Swisstech Convention Center, BG Consulting Engineers met with students and recent graduates. The EPFL Forum, one of the largest job fairs in Switzerland, attracts each year more than 15,000 visitors, 155 companies, 70 start-ups and 20 universities. This type of event enables BG to meet potential future employees.

BG Part of Pilot Project to Build Upper-Rhine Prison

Called upon as technical and environmental consulting engineers, BG joined a consortium tasked with building the French prison in Lutterbach, on the outskirts of Mulhouse (Upper-Rhine). The facility will provide capacity for 520 prisoners and should be delivered in 2020.
